Gauhar-e-Gulab: The Pearl of Rose
Pure Artisanal Attar | Extracted via Ancient Deg-Bhapka Distillation
The Fragrance Translating to "The Pearl of Rose," Gauhar-e-Gulab is not merely a fragrance; it is a coronation of nature's most perfect flower. We source only the most vibrant, dew-kissed Damask roses, capturing them at the exact moment their fragrance peaks. The result is a profoundly rich, velvety, and deeply romantic attar that lingers on the skin like a royal secret. It is the absolute essence of the rose—undiluted, unapologetic, and unforgettable.
A Legacy of Liquid Gold True luxury cannot be rushed. Since 1818, under the esteemed lineage of Lala Makkhulal Ayodhya Prasad, our family has guarded the secrets of authentic Kannauj perfumery. Gauhar-e-Gulab is the direct culmination of over two centuries of unbroken craftsmanship, honoring the title of India's Perfume Capital.
The Ancient Deg-Bhapka Method We reject modern chemical extraction in favor of the time-honored Deg-Bhapka hydro-distillation technique—a process that requires immense patience and master alchemy.
- The Deg: Thousands of fresh rose petals are placed into massive copper cauldrons (degs) and sealed with clay.
- The Fire: Slowly heated over a traditional wood fire, the roses surrender their essence into steam.
- The Bhapka: This fragrant steam travels through a bamboo pipe (chonga) and is captured in a receiver pot (bhapka) resting in a cooling water bath, where it condenses back into liquid.
This exhausting, beautiful cycle is repeated over weeks, capturing the exact soul of the flower and the very earth it grew in.

How to Wear Apply a single drop to your pulse points—the inner wrists, the base of the throat, and behind the ears. Because Gauhar-e-Gulab is a pure attar, it is activated by your body heat, evolving and blooming uniquely on your skin throughout the day.
